Obuse-no-Kaze Youth Hostel is located only a minute walk from the Hokusaikan Museum where the works of the worldclass, famous Edo period ukiyo-e artist Hokusai are displayed. About 10 minutes walk from Obuse Station, it is easy to access Zenkoji Temple, Snow Monkey Park and Shiga Kogen. Ideal as a base for touring northern Nagano. You can use a laptop computer that has an internet access for free. We don't have an onsen but we offer free shuttle service to the nearby onsen facility.Obuse is known as a traditional center of chestnut production. Stroll the town and enjoy the chestnut confectionary and cuisine. We have both Japanese and Western-style guest rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned. We offer shampoo and soap for free but we charge for the followings:towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a razor. There is a coin locker, safe box, vending machine, laundry facility and a parking lot(for 7 cars).We offer 3 bicycles (100 yen per hour). Smoking is not permitted inside of the facility. Please smoke outside at the deck.
