Our hostel is located 5 minutes walk from Yalta main busstation / Crimean trolleybus final stop, so you don't have to spend much time and energy trying to puzzle out the directions in the Chaos of Yalta streets.Having main bus station nearby means you can reach any Big Yalta and most of Crimean attractions easily.The word 'kvartirnik' originates from the Soviet 70's and means art-event taking place at the private flat. Kvartirniks were organized by non-conformist artists whose works were banned by Soviet censors. The idea was to keep the audience as close as possible and preserve heartiness and sincerity of the event.Our goal is not to imitate 'kvartirniks' of the Soviet reality, but to take the very idea of such kind of events, or better to say situations, and apply it to the hostel concept. So we rented the apartment in an old house of the Stalin era and converted it to KVARTIRNIK hostel. Here you may find artworks by contemporary artists from Ukraine and around the world, meet those artists personally and express yourself in any form.
