We are an Anglo-Italian family of travellers and we spent our holidays in many places around Europe, visiting many B&Bs and house-farms. Our Faronhof bed and breakfast is located near to the center of Venice., we are based in the Venice area of the Riviera Del Brenta, where all the famous Palladian Villas are situated, 20 minutes bus ride from Venice Piazzale Roma, the bus terminal. We are only 800 meters from the bus stops going to Venice, which can be reached in 20 minutes (the bus leaves every 30 minutes, the last one from Venice at 24.00). At our bed and breakfast accommodation guests will be welcomed in a pleasant and familiar environment, enjoying all modern comforts while at the same time enjoying the peace and tranquillity of a house with a private garden. If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive accommodation in Venice, our homely bed and breakfast is a great choice. Offering two tastefully done up rooms with amenities like television and wi-fi internet access, the place offers you more than your money's worth. You can enjoy a barbecue with your family or just laze about in the charming little garden behind the house. Free bikes, bus tickets and organised excursions to the popular tourist sites around the city are some of the other services that we offer. Venice centre, Padua, Treviso and other important areas are close at hand. We would like to share with other people the good experiences we had by travelling on the cheap and getting the opportunity to meet many new friends and get in contact with lots of other cultures. Cyclists and motorcyclists are more than welcome.Our rooms are clean and newly refurbished, we offer one room with private bathroom and one room with shared bathroom. All rooms have free internet access and free satellite tv, a wardrobe, a desk, a chair and a sofa chair. An extra bed can be added at separate cost. Prices include a full continental breakfast (tea or coffee, orange juice, milk, cereals, toasted bread with butter and jams and honey, croissant, biscuits), daily room cleaning and linen are provided. Local cooking and products are very good. Countryside visits are available on foot, by bike or riding. During the year there are many festivals and folk events: Redentore, Carnevale di Venezia, Regata. We have a peaceful garden with a barbeque for your use. We also provide free bikes, a local swimming pool at 1 km, as well as information and tourist advice for the area with advice on planning historical, natural, gastronomic and folkloristic itineraries. Bus tickets are available for sale at the house. We can also organise excursions to the Riviera del Brenta and entries in the Villas, for prices please enquiry when booking or on arrival. Arrivals and departures: check-in 14.00-21.00 (you must call us or email us with your arrival time otherwise we will not guarantee to be here on your arrival), and we kindly ask you to advise us at least 2 days before on your estimated arrival time.
