Great atmosphere with a friendly cat! The staff are really helpful, in a great location. I would recommend staying here whilst in Cairo.

I ve been in many hostels around the world and Meramees Hostel is one the best places for travelers who are reaching for peace, security, and specially cleanliness, an essential aspect, but crucial in Cairo because it s not easy to find a palce like this...
So, come to Meramess Hostel and you ll not forget the great hospitality and a really complete and good beakfast for excelent prices.

I had a WONDERFUL time at Meramees hostel this year. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and Mohamed is always there to lend a helping hand for his guests and make sure everything is taken care of for you. They can organize great tours and the rooms were great. Free Breakfast, kitchen, internet, and a fun staff makes this hostel a perfect place to stay while in Cairo.

The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. They picked me up at the airport and took me to the hotel. Such a relief to not have to worry about that after such a long plane trip. Rooms are big and clean and so are the bathrooms. Quiet and comfortable sleeping. Had the two best night of sleep on my trip here at the beginning and the end!
