The wooden floor is too noisy. The condition is ok

This was a really nice hostel and would stay again however, the shared shower was not fun as the shower head did not attach to the wall. Also, my girlfriend had a few issues with the creaky floor boards but that never bothered me. The bar downstairs is cool and the indian upstairs looked very nice too. All in all, very good but expensive.

directions provided to the hostel were useless!! hostel was messy, could do with a makeover. and, as with everything else in Zurich, the prices of things were extortionate. A one night stay was more than plenty.

1. smoking is not allowed, but still you can smell smoke everywhere 2. the shower room is pretty small and mixed, without the possibility to lock the door undress in a separate space except under the shower 3. the hotel floor is covered with a red carpet, not so great in case of fire and as far as I understood the emergency exits are the (inside) stairs, covered with the same carpet, so I was wondering how to get out the building in case of a fire...

overall reasonable for a single guy on budget with good location

i dont really see any special theme here in the room. we stayed in a triple room and the room was ok, big enough. but it is wierd that the sink is in the corridor and everyone can see you when you are brushing teeth or washing face.

The room was the worst I could get, by terms of low ceiling, very small windows, poor furniture. The bathroom was very old, and the shower drain was almost clogged. Seeing all these, you could definitely say that living in such conditions had a stylecharacter, a decadent one. It could be worse! Nevertheless, I would gladly come back. I liked the place a lot although I am not a fanatic smoker ;)
