It was at the top of the city, up a lot of hills, and very clean and quiet, but maybe a bit expensive for what they offered. However, the food was pretty good for being included in the price. There is a fee for your room key as well, which is annoying.

Great location, very clean and up scale. the wireless internet costs money and accepts your money but then never works and you don't get refunds. this was more of a family and over 40 place very few youths in the youth hostel. but the skiing zermatt more than makes up for it

Great place, I would definitely stay here again. Not as hard to find as some people make it out to be. The only drawback is you have to pay for internet, but then again that's not why you go to Zermatt.

A little bit expensive, but I believe all Zermatt is expensive. The god thing was to have the dinner and breakfast included in the price

Great location, very clean, and GREAT food. We were very happy and wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Loved that dinner and breakfast were included. Not easy to get to without taking a bus. Highly suggest taking the bus with luggage. Very clean.

The dinner is fantastic.
The room is very clean.
just can't believe they charge extra not only for the internet etc. but even for the locker

Though this hostel is supposedly 15 minute walk from the train station, it is rather hard to find. I would definitely recommend taking the e-bus. I made the mistake of taking a taxi and it was 17chf for a 5 minute ride! Although the location is not the greatest (only about 15 minutes walk though once you know where you're going) the hostel itsself was very clean.
