Room is congested alot,that room would suit for two people.

I only stayed there one night, but I was very pleased with everything about my stay.

One of the staff members told us that Berry Springs would be open... unfortunately it wasn't. but otherwise... very good.

really nice staff, great hostel..no alcohol, but next to all the bars, so its quiet in the hostel, but a stones throw from the fun. nice pool to chill out in, and massive kitchen and eating area..aircon, fridge and fan in the room. awesome.

First Australian hostel we stayed in and were impressed. Annoying to have to go downstairs and leave a deposit for pots and pans but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Second time i've stayed at youth shack and i think i always probably will when in darwin. it's not exactly a party hostel, it's not exactly a quiet-quiet hostel, it's just a decent hostel with great staff, clean facilities and an awesome location.

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Not sure why some of the other reviews on the site weren't so good but I had a good experience there.

This place wasn't really worth what we paid for it. We ended up in a 4 share dorm staying with a girl who was basically living there. For us, only staying a couple of days, was not a good experience. She worked at a bar all night then slept all day, so we tiptoed around the room when we needed to do something. Bathroom cleanliness was below par for the price. Everyone wants a clean bathroom!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The Staff are rude, the place is a dump. The pool was like a dirty puddle.
