the quality of the hostel was just fine, but I had two slight issues with it: one, it seems to be somewhat overpriced (I guess that's the advantage of being the only hostel in town), and two, it's a solid two mile walk from the edge of Stratford-upon-Avon

A good hostel with a great breakfast. They have a variable pricing system for accomodation, so each night may be a different price.

Lovely near-mansion, great free breakfast in the morning, friendly staff and a really short (if fairly costly) bus ride from Stratford town centre. Family atmosphere.

This YHA is out of town but there are easy bus links to and from the centre.Be warned though, when I extended my stay with them directly the following night they charged my a different rate (more expensive). Rates change daily! The price did include breakfast(fry up, teacoffee etc) and you could help yourself as many times as you liked. It was also an old building with old carpets. Fairly clean rooms and toiletshower facilities. They do give clean sheets on arrival.
