Second time staying at Walter's and were impressed once again. Really comfortable and he'll do anything to help you out (including huge breakfast in bed with enough for a packed lunch and washing, folding and delivering your dirty washing back to your room). Would completely recommend except by the third night the bed was a bit uncomfortable (and noisy if you are a couple). Enjoy.

This was one of my favorite places to a variety of reasons; Walters friendliness, location of the hostel (only 7min from Interlaken Ost), the spacious of the room, Walters breakfast and his understanding to backpackersbudget travellers needs (he gave us extra bread and bags to pack a lunch for later!) and the bed was very comfortable! I have booked a double bed room, the room is huge and very well. The owner is really nice person. We have taken breakfast in the hostel in 7 CHF, and the quantity of the breakfast is really unbelievable in that price.

Staying at Walters was a higlight of our 5 week trip in Europe. Walter was the most obliging host, helpful and very kind. Our room was very comfortable and we looked forward to our BIG breakfast every morning. We also had his fondue and were so glad that we did. Overall, we can't wait to come back to Interlaken and stay with Walter again!

Mrs Walter is amazing, he is very nice and helpfull, his founde is the most cheaper in the city. Is the best place to stay in Interlaken
