Everything is really nice, but it is a place for the more experienced travelers. If your idea of mountaineering is sitting in an expensive hotel and watching TV, better find another place. If, on the other hand, you are looking for stunning views and are prepared to work a bit for it, you should not miss this location. Ionut (the host) is a great guy, and he can give some advice about the best hiking places. You can also try some light skying or sledging around the hostel in winter.

ok, if you want a bit of a challenge this is the place. its 3km hike up a mountain, its 1200m above sea level. amazing views... but from now until end of winter its covered in snow. the only way up and down is by your feet. definately got fit!!!

Villa Park was one of the greatest places I have chosen to stay in all my travels through Eastern Europe. The quaint setting and intimate attention of the staff made our trip one not to forget. We ran into some problems with scheduling and had to adjust our dates of arrival. The staff , especially Joseph, was very helpful in understanding our needs and was able to help us at no extra charge. I was able to make a reservation even though they were full. Fortunately, they contacted me to tell me they were booked.
So, do I get my deposit back, or is this a good way to scam people without having to do anything?

Fantastic scenery and extremely helpful hosts. They offer splendid hikes, and you can ride a horse or pick fruits on the farm. My room was exquisite with a terrace overlooking the mountains. Villa Park is close to Moeciu Village, and the owner Joseph was kind enough to pick me up from the bus stop. Dont stay here. Of the activities advertised, none are mentioned. I asked if I could see a bear, and was told it wasnt really possible. When I went to pau, they asked me to pay in Ron, but upped the exchange rate to some crazy conversion, I had to actually say no I wasnt going to pay that. Seriously, the location is beautiful, but for the same price, you will find full board at one of the pensions on the same mountain. Just a warning

a nice place in the mountains and such beautiful scenery! 1 night isnt long enough! a few tips:its at least an hours hike up to the villa from the bus stop. Yosev was great about picking me up.. but its 30 lei to cover diesel if theres less than 5 ppl. also you need to bring all your food up with you .you can buy everything at the shops near the bus stop in moeciu. totally recommend this place for getting out of the city!!

This place is NO WHERE NEAR BRASOV TOWN. It's in the mountains on a little farm. Stay here for the best time in Transylvania you could ever have, hike to Bran Castle! BRING CASH AND FOOD.

Stunning location away from the city. Beautiful scenery and the staff made me feel instantly comfortable. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the cities for a while.
