Never judge a book by it's cover. It was a little difficult to find in the middle of the night, and the graffiti riddled building next door might have scared away the timid traveller, but this is Romania. The graffiti is more art than gangs marking territory. The hosts were extremely friendly, informative, and genuinely interested in showing off the best of their country. An assortment of books awaits to expound one's curiousity of this wonderful country.

The instructions were bogus. I asked over 12 people and everyone kept sending me in the wrong direction. Once I got to the apartment complex hallway my senses would not let me go through that hallway or in the adjacent alley. I waited until another woman passed and then I went in there with her. Luckily once I finally made it, there was a warm room and a lion's paw tub waiting for me.

Never seen an hostel so dirty, the rooms ( they show us all) are full of smell of the toilet, It looks like an horror movie. There is no floor, laudry was very dirty, and staff invisible. For the same price there is hello hotel more central , new and 3 stars!

I don't have enough room to express my disappointment. We checked in around 3 with a reservation - room wasn't going to be ready until 9:30pm! Came back at 10:30 - still not ready - the place was more than dirty - so we prompty left to find another place to stay but not without parting rudeness from the staff. I am not sure why Let's Go recommends this place

On arrival, we were told that a Hostelworld booking confirmation was not, in their eyes, a 'booking'. So if you book it online follow it up with a call or email to make sure you have it secured. Other than that, the place was OK.

The manager was dead drunk and lost our booking.
This lead to us being out on the streets at 11PM in Bucharest without a hotel room.
Not impressed!!!
