An over crowded family guest house who will give rooms in insecure family rooms when overbooked without ensuite bathrooms which are unhygenic undvailable and used by all family members. Watch out for your belongings. Had money missing in such a room as it was without safe as given in other rooms. Prices of tours keep changoing overnight so do rates of exchange.My first unpleaseant experience with Hostelworld

Nice familly hostel at moderate price in a Mahebourg - convenient place to start a trip around the island. Located 500 m from the bus station from which you can rich the Blue Bay beaches just in 15 min. Very nice and helpfull the owner Hassen. I really was not disappointed.

A delightful guesthouse, clean, simple and had all the amenities that I could wish for; my room even had a DVD player and a hairdryer. Hassan, the owner made a delicious breakfast every morning putting himself out at all times. Another benefit of staying here was Hassan being a trained tour guide which enabled me to ask him to take me anywhere I wished. I had a lovely stay with Hassan and his family and allowed me to have an insight into real Mauritian culture.
