Great people and great location, only thing really was the cleanliness. floors were very sticky, cupboards were dirty, and the bathrooms were very unclean. a pillow in my room had a huge sticky stain on it which was a bit gross. general maintenance also needed on tiles and other bits around the hostel. having said that enjoyed stay very much, the guests were all lovely and the location was awesome. thanks!

fairly modern and clean. excellent location! a bit clicky, a lot of long stayers (6mths+) who think they own the place so maybe not great for lone travellers.

messed up my booking a couple of times. The bathrooms were very clean, rooms were also ok. Not the worst hostel ever, but not the greatest either

So good I'm heading straight back, had to move hostels for the weekend as The Ritz was full. There are a lot of long stayers, but they are open and welcoming to newbies, there's always someone to chat to go out with, plus staff organise nights and dish out info each day. Bring on those pancakes.

This hostel was a little on the basic side, not very clean and it didn't feel too safe leaving our belongings in our room. It was full of 'brits abroad' which as a bit myself was quite embarassing hearing football songs being sung by the 'long termers'. in a great spot on Fitzroy street but i would not recommend this hostel to anyone unless they're after a Magulf style experience!

Bed bugs bned bugs and bed bugs !!!!! Disgusting !!! And we pay for that !!

Good spot, easy to meet people, everyones up for a laugh, party hostel.. if you want to sleep then not the best...
