The staff were very friendly, the hostel has a lot of character and I felt pretty safe there. The location is good for Bondi, and is very close to the metro for any other travels. kings cross is a bit of a sketchy district, but overall I enjoyed my stay.

I was extremely impressed with The Original Backpackers Hostel. The staff are welcoming, warm and extremely helpful. The travellers are diverse and always willig to have a chat and share their travel adventures. The smoking in the outdoor courtyard area can be an issue. However if you are after a backpackers that is affordable, quiet, relaxed yet social and fun then The Original Backpackers Hostel is for you. Enjoy your stay.

An excellent backpackers - well managed, welcoming, clean and fun. Best part were the very friendly and helpful staff.

This hostel was great! People were nice. Very clean and comfortable. The only draw back here were the very late night post bar madness down in the outdoors common area. The noisepeople kept waking us up throughout the night. Great hostel otherwise!

By far one of the best hostels I have stayed in. People were very nice and helpful. The door was well sealed so the huge roaches crawling around couldn't pay us a visit.

The 2 first nights were quiet and ok. During the last night, a group of young people made a lot of noise during the night and during a long time. This was not nice at all for us.
Otherwise, the address is really nice !
