This was a very fun place to stay - it has a nice common area with a bar. It was nice to be met at the top of the long staircase with bottles of water after having carried our heavy backpacks for a long time. The only problem we had with the hostel was the amount of cigarette smoke inside (you are allowed to smoke in the common areas) and the lack of ventilation. As non-smokers, the smoke was bad enough that we would not stay here again.

Fantastic hostel with very friendly and welcoming ownerstaff. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. I loved the location which is less than 5 minute walk to the beach. I easily walked to City Center in 25 minutes, or you can catch the bus around the corner. A great place to meet other travellers, but yet still get a good nights sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

the place was really nice, the staff was nice, but the stairs going up are a real killer so if you're very tired or have alot of bags, you won't feel like going in & out because of the long walk back upstairs. othar than that the place was good.

Very friendly. Kitchen could get a little crowded if a lot of guests there.

I was only there briefly (one night), using it as a stepping stone to Morocco, but it seemed clean, and looked like it could be promising for longer stays.

I would have to say that the Melting Pot was once of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The staff were amazing and it felt very homely. I cannot wait to come back again.

Close to the beach, easy walk to the center, loved the terrace, and everyone was very nice.
