Highlands is a great place to stay, especially if you like cats. There are about 9 very friendly and polite kitties. The hostel manager, Joanne, is extremely helpful, and has created an upbeat, comfortable atmosphere. I'll certainly be back.

The manager was briliant and very helpful, even picked us up from the airport. Gave us lots of fruit as well, she was great fun. And it was great to have the cats around!

Good hostel, a hostel in the truest sense of the word, lovely warm showers and 247 coffee, my only complaint is that the staff made access to the TV somewhat difficult. Recommended though. :-)

The owner had totally controll about everything, sometimes too much.
We didnt like that the kitchen was almost in the toilet, the same sink was used for toilet and for the kitchen.
