This is somewhat more a camp than a real hostel. It's full board, and has friendly staff that will try to go out of their way for you. Not everybody speaks english though. The on site sauna is fabulous and also the bar is worth checking out. The staff arrange daily trips around the beautifull Olkhon Island, the food is ok, and the small wooden houses you get to stay in offer a lot of privacy and rest. It felt just like staying at a Buryat family...great cooking by Olga, quiet place (I had a the dorm for myself!) and perfect view onto Lake Bailal. I really enjoyed my stay!!! PS: If you want more tourist life and comfort, then choose Nikita's...

Even though she doesn't speak English, Antonia was helpful, kind and very patient with us (and our lousy attempts at Russian). The views from this place are beautiful and the food is delicious - just like grandma used to make!
