We really enjoyed our stay in Plaaka. Without a doubt this hostel has the best location we could ask for. Plaaka is the most charming part of Athens and being two young girls we both felt very safe. It was very close to all of the toursist destinations, very touristy but a great central location. Location is everything in Athens, we could walk everywhere. The rooms were very clean and we felt very comfortable!

Can't beat the location and free internet. The toilets and rooms were clean (although some rooms don't have a top sheet and the blankets are probably not washed regularly). The single key per room is a pain but this is more a hotel than a hostel. The communal courtyard closes around midnight and there is no other communal sitting area.

An okay hostel, and one of the cheaper in Athens, but the rooms are not that clean, nor are the bathrooms, some of which dont even lock. Also, for the dorm room of 8 people, there is only one key...so not very safe or convenient.

The hostel is in a great location, with free internet. However, it is extremely over-priced for what you get, in the way of a room. The bathrooms are rather ordinary..

I was sick for pretty much the entire stay after eating a kebab (be careful!)So I saw alot of the dorm room & hostel. The showers were filthy & the head wasnt connected so you had to hold it the whole time. The rooms were small but clean &the beds were comfortable. Someone came in & had sex on top of a bunk bed in the middle of the night which was lovely seeming as i was already sick. The staff were friendly & the free internet was a real bonus & the phone cards & amazing rates.

squeaky doors on several of the rooms, including the bathrooms - which woke us up several times each night

This is a wonderfully located hostel right in the heart of whimsical and classical Plaka. You are in walking distance to the main train station and to the bus that takes you to and from the airport. I highly recommend it! I've already stayed here twice and will do so again.

Not the best but not the worst place to stay. Staff were friendly and good location, but security was questionable. No lockers, only one key to room with eight people... but we enjoyed our stay.
