Decent hostel, massive with a lot of young backpackers going through (keep that in mind). My only issue was the lack of kitchen facilities (only a microwave in the small and somewhat dingy common room). Good for a cheap place to sleep in the heart of Edinburgh though.

Waaaay too many bunks crammed into one room. And I never ever did see a cleaner come through our room in the 2 12 days I was there, cos if they did our ensuite toilet would have been clean. But you can't beat the location and the reception staff was spot on.

Just a small problem when we arrived with the bathroom but we asked to do something and it was done. So, just don't hesitate to go there and I wish you a lot of fun
