Charming old residential building. Quiet residential area, definitely not a party atmosphere. Good public transport (tram) at the doorstep. Rooms well maintained, fresh sheets and towels provided. Nice free breakfast in communal kitchen lounge. Friendly and helpful staff. Free luggage storage available. Safe key lock for rooms. Safe at reception. Would stay there again - four share dorm was fine! Great value.

shower was either hot or cold no inbetween.apart from that a lovely relaxing place in a great location

Hostel was overall ok, but the building is very old, and there are cracks in the walls and ceilings, the beds and stairs squeeked and and the showers arent consistant (Hot water?). Staff were very helpful tho, and the location wasnt bad either, just down from the Bontanic Gardens, with trams stopping right outside the hostel.

Good for the money you paid.

Very Homely atmosphere, nice and cosy, just don't leave your towels out as they supply towels and will take yours to the laundry if you leave them hanging up and you may never see them again.

Been travelling for a few months now and this has been by far the best hostel ive stayed. Very homely, easy to meet people and the free tea, coffee, rice and pasta is added bonus. Great place to stay.

A nice quaint place to stay. The room i was in with my fiance was nice and cosy. It was nice having a little tv so we could check out some news and weather and other such stuff. Friendly service every time we needed some. We were only really there in the evenings and at night, but for that our requirements were met quite perfectly.
