I thought the place was pretty gross, even for a cheap hostel. Not clean, smelly, in need of repair.

Staff were great. Bartender made a great mojito. Hostel was under renovation when I stayed in January of 2009 - sinks only had hot water, showers only had cold! But despite that I loved this hostel, which says a lot. Great location, fun lobbybar, friendly staff, clean place despite the renovations.

Worst hostel I have stayed in, and I'm easily pleased. One toilet and two showers for EVERY guy staying there. Dripping ceilings, cracked walls, an absolute disgrace.

the bathrooms were the worst i've ever seen in a youth hostel. and i would have appreciated being told that construction was going on during the day.

Be careful! NEVER pay in this hostel by DEBIT CARD, only cash. I did this big mistake, they charged from my account additional money and never give me back! Manager is liar!!!!

They were still under construction so I'm really hoping they bring this place up to speed. So much potential for such a place. They have an amazing location right in South Beach, the lobby was decent for a hostel, the men's bathroom was atrocious. Door didn't close, I could regulate the hot water at the sinks. But most people told me that this was the best hostel they had been at??

A dirty, filthy place to stay. Broken tiles in the bathrooms, no hot water and a rude female manage who was lazy, but not lazy enough to add extra charges to our bill and I'm yet to see the refund appear on our credit card statment. Both my husband I thought the place to be disgusting and unsafe to stay at. Terrible.
