This place was nice, stayed there the last week of the season so it was really quiet. People were nice but sometimes they didnt open the restaurant and you were kind of left wondering what was going on. There's this kid who lives across the street with an annoying motorbike and no muffler. He just goes by back and forth cuz he has nothing better to do. Kalamaki is great and the beach here is way better than Laganas. I'll miss Lola and the cats.

A great place that is only a 10 min walk from the beach. It's in a pretty busy area, but there is a bigger area about a 5 to 10 min drive up the beach which has a wide variety of shops. The hotel itself was great, very clean and the staff was very friendly. And with a restaurant, pool, games, bar, and Internet you wouldn't really have to leave, though of course you should, to explore everything else there is to see in the area.

Kalamaki, where Sofias is located, is a resort full of UK hotels, restaurants and bars. There is almost nothing Greek about it. The Sofias hotel is good value for your money if you like this kind of holiday. The girls from the hotel were friendly, but the barman was a very grumpy person. The hotel is near the beach, busstop, and the restaurants and supermarkets.
