Staff were very helpful, researching how to get to our destination, and drawing us maps. One even spoke fluent english and offered to carry our luggage.

Well, it was for one night only so I wasn't too picky. However, staff is friendly, but almost no English. Conditioner wasn't working in my room, but they had a great traditional Japanese bath on the ground floor - great reason to give them a try. Ryokan itself is close to the subway station and only two station from city center (Sakae). I would definitely go back there for a night or two.

Very friendly staff and amazing Japanese-style bath. Very close to train station and a nice quiet atmosphere.

We had a very nice time at this hotel.?The staff was extremely kind and the?hotel was very clean. We recommend also the orchid museum,?which is just 5 minutes walk from it.
