It was such a nice stay for me in Venice! The owner was very nice and the room was clean, nicely decorated but a little bit cold in winter. Anyway it was fun to be there.

everywhere's a great location in venice as long as you're on the main island. no need to take the waterbus, just walk to the hostel. it's 10 mins, no need to waste the 6.5 euros (i did because it was close to midnight and i was by myself). clara is very nice and a great help! told us of a fabulous restaurant.

Clara was very welcoming and helpful :) the hostel really felt like a house. it was cold though (the photo on the web site isn't quite exactly where the hostel is hehe)

It was cold! otherwise great location for the price! I loved Venice even though it was nothing but rain while I was there, was able to walk everywhere from the Residenza. definitely would recommend for travelers on a budget looking for something central!

Very comfortable, cozy, and clean. Small hostel with a personal touch, and an amazing location right in the middle of Venice. Loved our stay and Carla was fantastic!

Clara is very nice. The location is excellent. It's easy to go everywhere in Venice by foot from Madalena. We enjoyed our trip in this hostel. The cleanliness is good and we shared the living room with other guests from various country. Very good.

I rated fun very poor because it was FREEZING while I was there. The heaters are turned on only at night, and they were not strong enough to make up for being off during the day. By the time she turned them back off in the morning (8am sharp), the place was still cold, and they stayed off until the evening. Other then that the place is nice and Clara is very hospitable. Its a great place when it is warm outside... (I was there in late december)

Arrival building looks nice but the actual building nearby is old. Good common room. Lots of rules. Bathrooom was old and room was a bit hot, but well maintained. Great location and good value.
