Nice place with an excellent lounge, spent a lot of time there coz it was so nice. Staff where very helpful and the location was good.

Thats a nice hostel, they have invested a fair amount to make a nice hostel with a nice barresto

Staff was very friendly and their lounge was very comfortable. The building was neat, old and roomy. We had a private and it wasn't cleaned for the duration of our stay, but that might have had something to do with the fact that we never left our room until after 11am.

no pick-up service, but hostel is very near to the train station (ca. 10-15min footwalk), the beach and some sights. Staff is very kind and helpful; lounge and library are absolutely amazing! Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable as well as toilets and showers (toilet paper included).

Well located hostel. Just across the road from a bar where u can buy a plastic bag full of beer for 5 Yuan! Its near a food street as well that sells some pretty nice stuff so you can save an absolute fortune if you eat there. Nothing spectacular about the hostel itself, it was functional.

Situated in the Old Town and a 2 minute walk from a bustling Chinese food market the location is superb. In addition to the comfy DVD room and free Internet the BarLounge area in this place is second to none. Stay here,find a friend, go on the Brewery tour and get drunk. Quingdao Rocks!

great location. i'm so glad this hostel was in the old part of town. local market nearby. :) the barlounge area was very relaxing, however they played the same music every day. the dvd room was a particular favorite-- a quiet room with a good number of dvds.
HOWEVER, the staff was not very helpful. when asked about local hotspots and how to get to places, they weren't detailed or energetic about helping. they were actually clueless. luckily, qingdao is easy to handle alone.
