Cheaper rates at the door than by booking in advance :(
Strict closing times of kitchen and lounge facilities cuts out the option of socialising at night.
Bring warm clothes, because the heaters only come on in the evening and the rest of the day it's freezing inside!

For that kind of money it was really good place to stay. Very helpful staff!

The overuse of rules in the kitchen was off putting and unfriendly

This place wasn't very close to any of Portsmouth's attractions like the ships but it was near the waterfront. The rooms were small and there was only one shower on the floor but the kitchen and communal rooms were fine, and mostly clean. The staff seemed a bit surly and there were aggressive signs everywhere - 18 signs in the kitchen, many of them repetitive - which gave the place the air of a strict boarding school.
