Betty was so helpful, she called a cab for us and gave us tips on the area. Our room had a lot of character and the beds were comfy. Good location if you plan to see a lot of sites in the colonial district. A lot of character and lots of street noise. If you're a sensitive sleeper it might be a problem but we did just fine.

Very Clean. Zona Colonial is walking distance to the best of Santo Domingo. Betty goes out of her way to help her guests. Tito Menedez is an excellent guide for the city and works travelers on a budget. Just look for the short Dominican young man with bright yellow or red shoes outside of the hostel office.
