The staff was super! So helpful. We bought a tour from them and were very pleased with the discounted price. Location was close to the foot bridge across the river and we were able to walk almost everywhere.

I had a great experience at Parami. Granted, I have been living in southern Thailand in the jungle teaching English , so little things like a mattress or a hot shower were worth the trip alone. That said, the hostel is very nice with a lovely staff that is friendly and willing to help you with anything that you might want. I would also recommend a massage at the Padma spa that is adjoined with Parami.

This place was very clean, friendly and the breakfast was good. The only problem was that walking home from the night market was a bit annoying as there are no sidewalks on the road that this place is on and cars are flying past you in the dark. If you're looking for a place with other backpackers and a hostel atmosphere this is not the best choice for you. If you want a clean, friendly and cheap place it's a great choice.

Nice place, but it's basically an extension of these peoples' home. They stay up late in the courtyard outside your window and monitor everything going on. Internet gets turned off at 9 P.M. Lots of kids around and no privacy whatsoever. Lovely people, but you should know what you're signing up for. I only stayed 1 night then moved down the street to Chor Malee.

Nice and cozy place along the Ping river, where are also situated good restaurants. Spa next door. Extremely helpful staff and excellent breakfast for just 100 Baht. Hard beds and pillows. Personal character.

Helpful owner, friendly staff and a good location away from the main drag but within walking distance. We would stay there again.

This is a lovely place to stay for a few days (we originally booked for 2 nights and stayed for a week). Aree and Roger are very helpful, speak ecellent English. The hostel is about 15 min walk from the main town but close by to some good restaurants, coffee shops etc. Only thing to be wary of is the bus back to Bkk, we booked this through the hostel and it was not a good bus, broke down etc. No fault of the hostels just worth knowing if planning to return to Bkk by bus.

Excellent hostel, fantastic owners, great breakfasts! Couldn't ask for more, this has to be one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, a great way to see Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!
