The manager at the front was very kind to us. But the hostel closes between 930am and 3pm so you cant come back and use the bathroom or get something from your room. It felt like an institution and the bathrooms were full of mould. Give this a miss for sure! Go into the little town and there is a better hotel for about 10Euro more that is clean, decent and has a good feel about it (called Due Mori).

No real complaints, but it was big and there wasn't really a scene for hanging out and meeting people. Vicenza is tiny, and this is in a good location.

Wonderful staff, very generous and attentive and flexible with hours of entry etc. Unusual in some hostels.

the bedroom is very small, the hostal be closed too many hours (from 10am to 3pm), however is a nice place and you pay the fair price

Opinon in the comments book on the front desk was split on this place. Most criticisms were of the 11pm curfew, but all we did was ask about it and they gave us a key for the front door. The staff are a bit slow, but they did enough for us. The location is spot on, price ok and our triple room was adequate. Vicenza is a cracking little town and is a good base for a day trip into Rome
