SUCH a gorgeous area! This onsen is in a prime location- cross the street and you're on the beach. The train ride out to Usami was great- a local train with turned seats so you can see the coastline the whole way! A couple block walk from the train station, but you pass several shops along the way. The owners are incredibly kind and fantastic, the rooms are lovely with great views of the mountains and lovely view of the water from the porch! Excellent staff. Excellent location. Excellent value. Some traffic noise due to the holiday. Not too flashy but overall, a great little place.

The staff were very nice, and the location was right by the ocean so sleeping with the sound of the waves was nice. A little rough around the edges, but all-in-all a nice place!
