This place is an experience if nothing else and if in Freo you should visit. Its very close to the train station and handy for town. Its quite old and ramshackle but it definitely has character.

The hostel itself is great. Free Internet, pool, lots of dvds and vhs to watch on the big screen. Clean in the showers and toilets. There are messy people in the kitchen which gets a bit of a headache when you want to cook. Bit of a party hostel at the weekends and I find that some people have been here for months, which can be a little hard to talk to people. Oh and if you get the room called the Bat Cave..... bring some ear plugs... its hard to sleep!!

Nice place if you are a long term resident, not so much for a few nights. Would be nice if they could have seperate long term and short term rooms. Nice kitchen and longe area though, very laid back vibe.

Good location to Freo, train station is just up the road as well if you need to get into Perth. Wasn't as amazing as what people were telling me but it's still cool.

everyone there had been there a while so it was hard to make friends, nobody really seemed bothered.
