During my recent stay at Sora House I found the location great and the staff enthusiastic and really willing to help me! Staff had check in details on palm cards and read them to me in English as we walked around the hostel.. I was very impressed!
I stayed in a single room which I believe was seriously overpriced. The walls were paper thin and the decor and bunk beds were old and not at all welcoming.
Get some new beds for your private rooms and I'll happily stay here again!

Paper thin walls. Could hear conversations next door, even the whispers. The mattresses were good. If you're looking for a place to meet and travel (esp. drink) with people in Okinawa this is the place. If you are lookign for quiet, look elsewhere. ;D

The Sora House is a great place to stay, and is conveniently located in Naha. The staff are extremely helpful, and they offer many amenities that are extremely useful.

Besides being a 5-floor walk up narrow stairs, Okinawa Sora House did the trick for my one night. The town isn't that big, and I was even able to walk to the airport in about an hour with my luggage. Pretty social place, too, with a diverse group of people. Enjoy your stay!

The very young staff made me feel a bit old. Okinawa is very touristy and has no nice beach, better go to one of the other islands instead.

Great place! I especially liked the group dinners. Everyone was very helpful wany and all questions, e.g. where was the best place to get champloo, what should I do about getting a ferry, etc. They also have a big jazz CD collection, and beer in the fridge for cheap.

Good hostel with helpful staff. Only complaint is no lockers or safety deposit box. Would stay here again!
