Okay location in the outskirts of Chinatown - which means good food for a cheap price. Some of the staff didn't speak english very good and they screwed up our booking but they solved it best they could but it still drags down the rating a bit.

Too noisy at night,staff go off work too early so that some guest make noisy till midnight. Not easy to fall asleep because of the noisy. The breadfast is quite bad and aweful.

There was no commonroom which was crap, just a tiny room off the kitchen which only had a few seats considering the amount of rooms.. Would not recommend unless you are desperate. No air conditioning either so quite stuffy and hot.

great location, in an oldish building in the south part of the city centre. lots to do around here. 2 mins walk to central train station. nice beds, with lockers. good breakfast and hot showers.

Great hostel, excellent location and if you're looking to escape the typical 'drink obsessed' Australian hostel culture for a while this is a good choice. Staff very friendly & helpful & one of the cleanest hostels we've come across in Australia. No internet pcs available but not a problem cos of the location (there is wi-fi though if you have a laptop). Free breakfast also good.

Terrific location as you are right in the heart of the city. The place is a bit limited in terms of number of showers on each floor. It is a bit noisy at night as it is located on a very busy main street, but then that is why you want to be there too.
