The location is brilliant by the sea and 30mins out of hussle of Wgtn city, if you dont have a car and plan to frquent wgtn city this would not be the location for you. This is one of the best hostels i have stayed at !!

If you like LONG walks on the beach, this is the place for you. This lovely hostel is a half hour train ride outside Wellington in a sleepy village, and the last train departs Wellington at 11 p.m... it's up to you! I'd stay closer to Wellington next time... But this place is the best out of city retreat you can get if that's your thing.

Fantastic, beautiful place, beautiful people, invited us for pumpkin pie, 20 min drive from wellington, ideal! Loved it!
