If you are going to Nikko, do yourself a favor and book a room here. The owner is one of the most pleasant and kind people you can meet. He will assist you in finding your way around the city. The furnishings are calm and inviting. If I ever go back to Nikko, I will stay here.

I had a really great experience staying that this Minsuke. It is a family run guesthouse and indeed it has a wonderful homelike feel to it. The owners are really helpful and the room was wonderful.

The owner very kind and the place is quite clean. Internet also free but the distance between the hostel and the train station is quite far.

Mr Sizou, owner of Minsyuku Rindo-no-ie is wonderful!!! I hereby recommend everyone to stay over at his place in Nikko.

Definitely a place to recommend.
Nice, clean, warm people and just a few hundred meters away from the main temples and the city center.

the right price, the right place, all the right trimmings and facilities and the host was more than a gentleman.
even though it was minus 5 deg outside, the electic floor blanket super warm and the box heater super toasty - perfect for a chilly nikko winter!
host was fantastic, kind, warm and like you grandpa and other grandpas everywhere, and the minshuku was excellent, clean and like the best ones out there.
A+++++, 910, highly reccomended, top pick, two thumbs up from my girlfriend.

It's Perfect!!...Nice Uncle and Cute Aunt are so friendly. The room is so cleaned in great environment. Uncle take care us as their child.

Very nice staffs , you will feel like stay home. Great recomend for staying in Nikko. Althought pretty far from tourist spot but this ryokang , have free pick up service from the station. I am happy to stay there
