Naive and money hungry manager allowed about 24 English youths to stay there on Saturday night. When they came home drunk at 3am and started wrestling ,swearing,screaming until 4-30am she locked herself in her room until the Police were called. Gave a refund for that one night (big deal).I was there with my wife and 2 adult daughters in the next room to the idiots.

We really enjoyed our stay in this fantastic youth hostel! I would recommend it to everybody visiting Torquey! The only thing to make it more perfect would be ligths near everybodys bed to read or do something else and not disturb anybody! :)

situated a little bit outside torquay town centre (not much, but quiet); runned by a german speaking woman; showers work with 50p coins for about seven minutes (which was enough for me) can be crowded during weekends, but quiet empty besides these times

Spotlessly clean hostel in a quiet area of Torquay. It has excellent kitchen facilities and a friendly owner. Would be happy to return.

Paradise! Newly renovated, immaculately clean, comfortable: comfortable beds, unbelievably luxurious bathrooms, great kitchen, dining room, lounge room, lovely big back garden to sit in. (ps: better, more comprehensive directions to the hostel needed on the website)

Our room did not have an outdoor window. Showers on meters and the one we tried didn't work just gobbled money. We arrived later than planned but there was no note from staff and they did not answer cellphone. Would not go there again.

Very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful with any questions. Would definately come to stay again!

awesome place to stop..close to everything you need..safe parking and near public transport..easy walking...and quiet.
