The view from right out front is beautiful. There was a well-equipped guest kitchen, and the owner was nice. The only disadvantage is the 20 minute bus ride from Interlaken. Bathrooms were clean, and the bedroom was pretty large. However, there is very little space between beds. During the summer it is probably very crowded, but when we went in mid-January we were the only people there, which was nice.

Not a bad Hostel, about $30 to Interlaken in a taxi, Hostel is right on the lake with a nice view of the mountains. It was a little cold in the rooms and the pillows are foam so id bring a blanket and a pillow. The lady was really busy in the morning but found time to make an AWESOME breakfast (first time Ive had a good, nearly American, breakfast in a hostel)Other than that not really any complaints. Id suggest it to anyone, and the price is good.

Skiing in Interlaken. With a car just 15 min away. The only bad thing for us was that the heat was very cold. But asking for extra blankets we could go through the night without freezing. The view from the lodge is awesome specially in the morning when the sun kisses the mountain

The hostel was awesome the only thing is that there was a mix up and when we booked our hostel it was the off season so it was supposed to be closed we didnt get to experience the hostel with others but it was awesome and in a great location....deffinetly recommended

You're literally 10 meters from the lake side with the most fantastic view I've seen in 20 countries I've visited. The 8 bed room was a dump, no sheets, and absolutely no people around in September. I'm a guy and later a girl joined who was a bit afraid of being with me alone in the same room. Laundry, market and restaurant a plus. Don't arrive at night in Interlaken, you have to pay 45 franks for a taxi to get here. Come for peace.

The place is located 20 mins from interlaken centre, but the lake here is beautiful, just outside the room. If you are looking for somewhere convenient, this is not a good choice. But if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy your time, then lake lodge is great. A little complaint...the bed is not as good as I expected.

Not sure what this hostel is like, as we accidentally went to River Lodge! River lodge was great though.

Although this place is a twenty something minute, CHF 5.60 bus ride from Interlaken it's worth it! The mountains are stunning, the air is clean and the people are so friendly. I would really recommend this to people looking to find a bit of peace and quiet or to use as a base for exploring the mountains. We were in the cheapest room, where the beds are a bit weird, but you can build a bridge and get over any difficulties pretty easily. Awesome place.
