Lovely location. Good amenities and things to do in the vicinity. Helpful staff

We had a very memorable and enjoyable stay at Knockree Hostel over new year. We enjoyed a very warm and friendly welcome from the staff and were impressed by the location, character and ambience of the hostel. I have already recommended it to my friends and family.

The double room was superb and the view quite fantastic. More than what we espect from an hostel. The kitchen is small and not really functionnal, especially if there is some big groups at the same time.

First,meeting people form all over the world, having the chance to great talks-I like it. On this stay, I noticed the new designstyle. I think these round carpetthings on the walls are of no interest, and I come to think of a modern swimhall with a lack of character. Whereas the ploughs on the wall, have at lot of character, but as they are not integratet in the plans of the building, they become to express kitch or bad taste. (But what then, to incorporate charm,character or identity?

Nice clean hostel. I was a bit suprised that the outside of the dorm rooms was so open to the elements...i.e. cold. Can't imagine it's that energy efficient. If it was enclosed, surely the place would be cheaper to heat?...or maybe that's part of the character of the building.

All in all super hostel! Very friendly staff, good and cheep breakfast. Location quite far from city but beautiful, amazing setting! No warm water at 4am. Our departure was very early and we had to shower cold!:( Shouldn't there be a sign in the bath to inform guests?;)

Very nice hostel out in the boons. No shuttleservice (yet!). Make sure you get there in the day time, otherwise u might get lost getting there. Taxi would be 20 Euros from Bray Station. Nice rooms and facilities. We can highly recommend this hostel :)

Pity a group was a bit too noisy the night we spent there , but it was a wonderful place just as we had wanted it, in the middle of nowhere!!! we\'ll recommend it!
