sugan feels like home if you're a guest there -- a small hostel with a warm fire during the winter. the signs forbidding certain things were a bit overwhelming, but overall, a good place to rest your head at night and take a walk the national park or take in killarney's quaint surroundings.

Cute little place. Rooms got bit cold at night in winter but the common area downstairs with fire was nice and cosy. No alcohol on premises means that this seems like a very chilled-out place.

The double room seemed to be surrounded by pipes which made it a bit of a noisy night. But other than that, the staff were great and it looks like a fantastic place to go, particularly in the high season

this place had heaps of character - loved the fire in the front. only thing was that the place was absolutely deserted when i was there which isnt good when travelling by yourself.

thank you for everything just wish we could have stayed a bit longer

This place is really lovely. As you can see at the Hostel discription the Sugans is not for party animals but if you want relax and enjoy your time in Killarney you are difinitely right in The Sugans Hostel. :-) It was our second time there and Martin welcomed us like part of the family - we would definately recomend The Sugan Hostel.
