Bathroom not practical(no hangers for clothings),Toilet light sensor not working properly.Bedroom was unclean,rubbish was left on the floor,windows curtain was way too short giving view to passerbys in the street.Heater working 2 minutes then stopping leaving the room quit cold during the night.Electricity plugs not working in the room(couldnt charge phone or laptop).

Staff very good and friendly.
Location in Asakusa is great ALTHOUGH it would have been nice to be informed before arrival that Khaosan Tokyo Smile no longer exists but is rather now relocated to the Khaosan Tokyo Annex about three blocks away - not very handy when the khoasan website map I printed off had me walking aimlessly around the same area for about 45mins at 8pm, on a winter evening, carrying luggage.

Good enough for staying a few nights. Walking distance from a metro station and a 24h grocery store.

Our room smelled like feet (even after running the aircon), the bathroom smelled like a sewer. The kitchen is a microwave and hot plate (which you can't run at the same time). Walls so thin the bar 2 floors down sounded like it was in our room. Basically, this is just a typical party hostel.

It's a hostel - nothing totally over the top.. Serves its purpose and was close to a major train station.
