The people that stay at this hostel tend to be on the fun side with lots of character. I dont think the staff were bad as they delivered on the things which they set to do, they helped tremendously with reservations and bus tickets and so forth. But I couldn't get over the feeling that wanted to squeeze pennies from every last guest.

No parties!? Some of the staff are magnificient (fun, helpful) while others were the absolute opposite! The hostel was also VERY cold when we visited (December), but they had a small open fire and warm blankets =) The reataurant wasn't very reliable, and breakfast wasn't regularly ready on time (but good once it was served). One more thing: just because you have an adress doesn't necessarily mean the taxi drivers know the location of Jungle Party...

An excellent hostel to stay in, free breakfast, amazing food and smoothies. Really layed back vibe, with very friendly people. Would definitely return. If you're in Antigua stay here and definitely climb Volcano Pacaya... which can be booked through the hostel!

The owner was, in a word, awful . Staff was nice, but under-staffed and always busy. Didnt get our reservation, and made two more mistakes after that with bedsaccomodation. Luickily had some fun folks staying in the hostel that made it fun...

I made reservations through this website, but the hostel did not get the reservations. The staff were not the most respoonsable and did not take responsability when things went wrong. They have lockers but do not lend, rent or sell locks.

The company of other travellers made my experience at Jungle easier to digest as the staff was rude and the facilities extremely dirty. There was no tilet paper and we had to go buy our won locks to put on the lockers.
