staff was helpful with transit information and came in 15 minutes early to make breakfast so I could eat before my meetings. clean, quiet, friendly, convenient, I recommend it.

We really enjoy our stay there. We loved the warm welcome from the hostel member on the X'mas holiday! The breakfast is the best one that I have tasted.

the directions to hostel werent great but once we knew how to get there the train system was easy to use and was VERY close to the hostel (30 second walk). The buffet breakfast was great and the rooms were basic but beds were comfy. would come again

The hostel is really very nice and definitely worth the money it costs. It's not in the center, but just one step from S-Bahn.
You find there free tea and coffee (breakfast is also included), and even cozy common room with TV, games, and books (mostly in German, although). Staff is pretty helpful, just not all of the guys speak English well. Don't expect 5-star apartments, but for small-budget travelers, I'd say, it's the best choice in Berlin.

very nice welcome and very helpful with staff going outthereway to sort train times for journey back to airport and also going out there way by doing breakfast earlier than normal with very relaxing enviromnent and friendly staff a big thank you

Generally OK, but I wouldn't say it is 10min from the center, it is rather like 20 + you have to wait for s-banh for a while on this line; and you better have quiet neighbours because walls are made of wooden boards, at least I could hear everything through it, but it is a cheap place so I don't complain.
