I've never seen such an awful hostel before. Staff is rude rooms are terrible. But location is very good. Bathrooms are not bad either.

Loved the guys who were jammin' downstairs. Loved the people I met. Staff were helpful and nice.

good time spending there, next to central park and a lot of commodities around...it could be better to have a complete free access to internet, one dollar for 10 minutes. I will go there again if i come back to NYC

It is bad that the office isn't open 24h and it closes early and opens relatively late. It is also very unconfortable to have to leave the baggage in the office.

It has the best location near the subway station. Rooms were clean and facilities in the kitchen was useful. One thing I don't like is available check-in time is 8am until 11pm. I got NY at midnight so I couldn't stay there even though I booked it.

It is located at Upper West Side, which is very close to subway, bus, and central park! nice place to stay. BUT if you wanna stay in female-only rooms, you need to walk to 4th floor every day!! Moreover, you cannot take your baggage to your room. (it has to be kept in the office on the first floor.)

You had to be out of your room everyday at 10am for cleaning, and then again out of the common area between certain hours of the day. also if you were home past 11pm- you couldn't get your stuff out of the office since it was closed. on our last day we were hanging out in the common room, very tired- we fell asleep on the couches and they made us stay awake.
a few of the staff acted very inappropriately towards us, making us feel very uncomfortable when in the common area.
