I am rating the Channings hotel in Hounslow, as this is where I had to stay, because Norfolk hotel was having heating problems. Worst hotel experience in my life!!! It took two hours and 14-30 pounds to get there every night.

Looks very nice, the rooms were clean. Not too small but not big either. Staff was very friendly. Decent dinner at the restaurant inside. Breakfast was very poor, roasted bread, jam, orange juice and coffeetea. The location wasnt very great either, close to a bus stop but took 45-60m to get to central london. Free car parking! We heard every sound in the rooms next to ours which can be annoying. Other than that it was a nice place to stay, we had fun and i'd come here again next time.

On our arrival we found that who ever cleaned the room forgot to clean the window area and left cans of beer and dirty napkins.It was left there until we left.Restaurant needs new concepts and fresh ideas where both hotel and customers benefits on every level.Hotel price is perfect.

The room was very small and the bed was very hard. The included breakfast was okay. We had to take the train to London each day, which cost about 12 pounds. I wish we would have spent the money on a place closer to town instead of on train tickets. If you're on a budget and are okay with a hard bed and lots of train time, this would probably be an okay place to stay.
