Place is ok to spend few nights, if you just need a place to crash. There is no kitchen which is big con, cause Tokyo is expensive to eat out.Would not recommend for long stay.

A bit dark and smokey but a satisfactory bed for a decent price in Tokyo. Generally clean but quite old.

A very nice place to stay, but a little rough around the edges. It is certainly not the cleanest place I have stayed at, but it wasn't bad. The staff though, are truly exceptional, and will go to great lengths to help out their patrons.

more like bunk beds than the stereotypical picture of capsules, good location near the temple and the Asakusa and Ginza subway lines, easy walk to Ueno

Great place for the money. It's right next to Kaminarimon, which is a temple of particular interest and also around the corner from the subway and JR train stations. Great for the price. Of course, a capsule hotel was not meant to be fun. It's just a place to sleep, but I was happy with it in that capacity.

I loved it, it was cheap and in a great location. The capsules are pretty good too. If youre on a budget, you cant go wrong with this place.

Very nice staff running the place, cheap laundry and vending machines, and right next to the Asakusa subway line. For those with JR passes, the Ueno train station is only three stops (or 20 mins walking) away. Not quite the Fifth-Element-style capsules they might have at snazzier places, but certainly worth the money.
