Although I was a little concerned about this place from some of the others reviews I had read on the net, I was on the whole very happy with my stay here, especially for the price. Importantly, it was clean and the heating worked and there was hot water. It looked quite modern actually, well, at least the room I was staying in. You get what you pay for so don't have high expectations, but I was pleased with the place and have no negative comments.

The staff and location make this an excellent choice for the money. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for clean accomodations in a great location with a bit of charm!

Really nice and helpful staff.

10 min walk from Gare Nice Ville. 2 min tram ride (2nd stop). Beaches 5 min walk, Old City 3 min walk. Staff spoke English, French, and Spanish. Near a number of noisy clubs. 24 hour staff. Very safe (ring a bell to enter). Large rooms. Breakfast costs 7 Europersonday.

It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station and only 5 minutse from the beach. It is not on the main road, so it was quiet and we had no problems with noise at all. There was AC and a fridge in our room which always helps. It was very clean and comfortable for our stay. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, she even gave us a map with all the sites upon checking in.

The best thing about this place is the location. You are 5 minutes from the beach and the main promenade. Some members of staff cannot speak English very well, so brush up on your French if you cannot already speak it. However they're very friendly and useful.
The biggest problem is that it is near to a nightclub, so for light sleepers, a pair of earplugs would not go amiss. Air conditioning makes the stuffy coastal air far more bearable.

Great location - just a minute from Place Massena and about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and Old City. I'd recommend it.
