What a relief, to be away from the hordes on San Marco! Short walk to restaurants with a more "locals" flavor, less touristy. Very quiet and close to Accademia Bridge, easy to see the rest of Venice. Note: the traghetto from Santa Maria Della Salute to San Marco was closed to due construction during my stay!

Towels are extremely small. Have to ring the desk clerk to open the front door after a certain time. Lots of mosquitoes in our room, i'm covered in bites. Would stay again.

My girlfriend and I just stayed at this hotel. The second night we were terribly bitten my mosquito's. The gentleman who owned the place forced me to move rooms and then it happened again the third night. Owner didn't compensate for the inconvenience and was rather rude about it. I wouldn't stay in the place again.

Got 30 plus bites from mosquitos, so not very pleasant at all. Fine as it is probably that time of year, but something needed to be done. (repellents or traps) Would not recommend this hotel during mosquito season!!!

This place has the best coffee in the morning. the towels that they give you are no bigger then dish towels. Because the city is so small you never even notice that you are out of the way.

Good location in a slightly quieter side of Venice which means you have a nice walk into othere places and close to the Salute waterbus stop. Very helpful and friendly staff. For the price per night, I'd definately recommend it.

Very nice place, nice large common areas. A decent breakfast was included and the staff very friendly. Quiet neighborhood near the edge of the island, but no night life or restaurants open past 9pm.
