Brilliant location, Empire State Building was only 5 minutes walk away. The rooms might look a bit dated, but they were well cleaned everyday. For the price and location, you can't go wrong

Very clean, daily housekeeping. Nice staff. Great location near Broadway, Fifth Avenue and close to subway station. Enough space for one person, perhaps a bit crowded for two people. Not much to do in the hotel, but not necessary in New York as there is always something to do.

I am very desapointed because when I arrived the 31th december I must paid 173 usd instead of the 100 usd you said I must paid.... they said it was your fault... it is not serious it's a Misleading advertising!!

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights and met different staff each day - all of whom were so helpful and friendly. This place is ideal for those who wish to explore NYC - the location is great and the hotel is close to the subway for travelling too. It is not the best of places for those who wish to meet people and make friends - there is no lobby or bar area and no internet access is available. For a comfortable place to stay that is clean and close to central NYC,this is the best!

Left an item behind in the hotel. Staff were very accommodating when I went to retrieve it a few days later.

We loved Hotel 31 and will definitely stay there again. The taxi ride from LaGuardia was very quick, and about 30 bucks. Can differ slightly depending on factors, apparently. The room was quite small, but did have a lot of character and was clean as a whistle, as was the bathroom in our double bed, private bathroom room. The room was shaped rather interestingly, not your typical Super 8 motel room in other words, and I thought it was cool. The ceiling light was nicely set off in an octagon...More
