One of the best hostels we've stayed in. No oven in the kitchen was the only real downside. The staff went out of their way to help you. Late checkout is awesome after a hard day on the slopes. Lots of storage for boardsskisbags etc. If you're going to Zakopane, this is the hostel to stay in.

Now at the winter time the access to the main road should be cleaned properly. Cars have problems to get off the premises.

Overall very good hostel with friendly staff, nice kitched, good location. If there is something bad to say, if it's a cold night prepare to be cold also in the rooms. I spent here 7 nights and few nights the temperature was about -20 and the rooms were very cold no matter how much you turned up the heaters. Still Overall my thumbs up big time. :)

This is a relly great hostel, the staff were sooo helpful and it was never any problem when we needed something. breakfast is really good and the kitchen facility provided everything we needed. it is a little bit of a struggle to get to when you are wheeling your 20kg suitcase through the knee high snow and slightly more than 5 minutes from the train and bus station. i will definately stay here again on my return to zakopane to ski. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. Do stay here!!

nice place to stay, one of the staff was very nice and helpful

This is a GREAT hostel. They had a knitting basket, and really comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and translated some poetry for me, were super helpful and happy. The kitchen is beautiful, reception is beautiful, Stara Polona is beautiful!! Jest piekna!
