gorgeous old building, lovely staff with good English and great manners. i gave it 100% for fun because i completely enjoyed my time here, not because it was a party hostel or something. If youve been in South America a while this is almost certainly better than most of the hostels youve stayed in. only criticism is the padlocks on the doors are hard to use and could be easily levered off.

I think we may have been the only guests during our time - which is OK for off season. Staff were friendly and helpful. The building is big and beautiful and in a nice part of town.

really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff was very helpful with buses, directions, things to do. Very quiet hostel but nice. I would recommend.
